Description: Manual aimed at providing information

populations in Southern Africa that can be used to develop IPC programs
for migrant worker with respect to their unique vulnerabilities
to HIV/AIDS.
Mobility
and HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa: A field study in South Africa,
Zimbabwe, Mozambique. IOM, SIDA and CARE. 2003.
Description: The study investigates the links between
HIV/AIDS and mobility in Southern Africa. It focuses on several
highly mobile populations including informal traders, CSWs, migrant
laborers, farming communities, mine workers, in- and out-of-school
youth, and truck drivers. A good resource for developing IPC programs
in this area.
Toolkit
for Prevention: Among Mobile Populations in the Greater Mekong Subregion.

Description: A toolkit for program managers who
are experienced working with HIV. It provides guidelines for working
with migrant populations (in the Greater Mekong Subregion) and the
communities that are affected by their mobility.

2000.
Description: This training manual provides overview
of migrants and HIV/AIDS, as well as program interventions. It examines
methodologies for developing interventions. Israel is used as main
case example in the manual.

Description: This is a manual that can be used
to train peer educators as well as peer educators themselves. Activities
desensitize sex, assess risk and enhance communication in relationships.
It also includes activities for condoms and STIs. It is presented
in a general form to allow for adaptation to specific cultural needs.

Description: This is a manual that can be used
to train peer educators as well as peer educators themselves. It
focused on uniformed personnel and can be adapted to fit the needs
of other groups. It includes useful resources such as a guide for

Options for Uniformed Services. UNAIDS. 2003.
Description: Guide for developing programs for
uniformed personnel to address HIV/AIDS/STIs. Ideas are presented
generally and can be easily adapted to fit the culture and needs
of various target populations. The programming spans a wide range
of activities from testing for HIV and STIs and condom distribution,
to peer educators and policy development.

Description: This guide is divided into sections
